In September 2007 an agreement was signed between KRANEKS and SSAB Oxelosund AB, Sweden, concerning the HARDOX In My Body trademark.

KRANEKS has become the first Russian company to sign this agreement, acquiring the right to use the HARDOX In My Body trademark as confirmation that all KRANEKS wear-resistant bucket parts are manufactured from HARDOX steel.

From now on, each KRANEKS bucket will have its own label with an 8-digit identification number.

In May 2006 our companys engineers developed a new excavator model, the EK 450FS, equipped with a face shovel.

The new excavator may be effectively used in sand and gravel quarries, in overburden operations, loading various soils and materials into motor transport vehicles and railroad cars, and leveling related to construction work.

The EK 450FS excavators engineering specifications and performance data enable it to successfully compete with similar class Japanese, European and American machines, while the acquisition price and subsequent operating and servicing costs are significantly lower than in the case of foreign models.

The EK 450FS features a 300 hp YAMZ 238B engine, full set of imported hydraulic equipment from Bosch Rexroth, Germany and Hydrauto, Sweden, crawlers from Italtractor, Italy.
